Crime and Punishment… How’s your reading coming?
Pick a response.
A. It’s the most intriguing murder-mystery that I’ve ever read!
B. Get me out of this crazy criminal psychology class!
Christine: My answer is a lot of B with a little A thrown in. I’m hoping that things will improve in Part III.
Whether your answer is A or B, it’s time for roll call, so share your place in the comments.

A and b here, too. I’ve never empathized with a murderer before and it’s a bit unsettling. I’m on chapter 3, part IV. There’s some good human interest stuff going on, so fear not.

I’m a total A. I don’t like murder mysteries usually, but I am totally sucked into this one. I’m in the middle of Chapter IV of Part Four, and Jerry is a chapter or so ahead of me.

Mostly A – but not quite the “most” intriguing.
However… I’m still stuck at wherever I was the last time we checked in (ch.5 maybe?). Because I just got an Advanced Reader’s Copy of a new Dee Henderson book… and of course, that totally took precedence!
Hopefully I’ll get back it to it this week, though.

Finished Part 3 – mostly B – I just don’t feel much empathy for anyone – probably because I keep getting mixed up on all their names! I have to concentrate so hard on just who is speaking – especially when they speak paragraphs – that I tend to lose interest in their lives. But if I were honest, it is a “foreign” novel, and if it were updated, I might find it more intriguing. Think it might make for a fascinating Masterpiece mini series.

Part IV, starting ch. 6. B mostly. It feels like homework.
