Batman is my mortal enemy.

wag – n.  a joker

Classical Usage:  This is the description of Charles at his own (second) wedding:  Charles was far from being a wag.  He had been dull throughout the festivities, responding but feebly to the witticisms puns, doubles-entendres, teasings, and dubious jokes that everyone had felt obliged to toss at him from the moment they had sat down to the soup.

Classically Mad Usage:  This is the part of the post where I’m supposed to prove that I’m a wag, right?
