Making Progress

08 Oct

I’m not talking about Levin mowing the hay in the meadow.  I’m talking about the progress we’re making in Anna Karenina, a Russian novel with lots of parts, chapters, and pages.

How’s it going for you?

Me:  Part IV, chapter 2

Please share your progress in the comments!

Just finished part four last night. By the way, who else is reading a Constance Garnett translation? Did she not do a great job? I wonder if she did a War and Peace translation.

Ruth, my translation is the one on the sidebar here. Originally translated by Garnett, revised by Leonard J. Kent.
And yes, I LOVE it too. It looks like the Barnes and Noble Classics Edition was translated by her. War & Peace is on my TBR list. (After WEM, of course.)
