Getting Close

05 Nov

I finished the book last night.
Christina said she had whiplash from the end of Part VII.
I’m feeling the same way.  I need some time to ruminate on the ending

So, how is your reading going this week?  Are you getting close?

I finished about three or four nights ago, and I am beginning my inquiries. It’s probably going to take a whole week just to get through the questions. Usually it just took me two days.

I peeked at your blog and saw that you’ve already started the questions. Impressive!

I found Parts VII and VIII a faster read than earlier parts.

It’s been an exhausting week for me friends. I see that Christine is finished and she and I were at the same spot 2 wks ago. Dearie me!

As of yesterday: Part VI, Chapter 7.

Sick kiddos make classic reading super tough. I hope everyone at your house has recovered.

I finished last night, but I have to confess that I was so determined to finish that I put aside the journal and have a good handful of chapters that I’ll have to go back and journal (which essentially means rereading.)

Whoo Hoo! I’d do a dance to celebrate for you, but I really feel like it should be a Russian dance and since I don’t know any, I’ll jump up and down a few times instead.

Hey – there are some Russian dances in Fiddler on the Roof! We could watch that for some ideas…

Blush, I’ve been pretty busy, and I’ve only read a few chapters in the past 2 weeks! I’m on chapter 21 of part 5. I’ll try to get going again!!

I understand completely! Busy weeks happen to everyone. AK will still be there when life calms down (and knowing us, we’ll still be talking about AK!).

I agree with Christine — no worries Sandy! (However, any amount of blushing, flushing, reddening, or crimsoning is appropriate for this novel, no matter where we are in it!) 🙂

Heeheeeheee! : ) I love it! I’d forgotten about all the blushing and flushing! : D

Hey, Lutheran Mama! Has that baby arrived yet? Thinking of you! Oh, and Adriana, if we go see the new movie, I think I’ll be doing lots of blushing. (If the trailer is any indication…)

I’m curious as to whether the esteemed cast will have faculty of blushing. I sort of doubt it, unless digitally enhanced.
