Mrs Dalloway check-in1

How do you have a check-in for a book without chapters?
I have no idea.
We can’t share page numbers as each edition has its own number of pages.
We can’t describe where we are in the book because we might give away plot.
Wait!  There is no plot.
How about this?  Mrs. Dalloway starts out with Clarissa going to get flowers for her party.  Has she made it to the florist?  Has she picked out pansies, petunias, peonies?

Where are you in Virgina Woolf’s story?

The backfiring car just left the scene. That car is not the only thing that’s backfired, but it is the only things that’s had the good sense to get out of the novel.

She’s got sweetpeas, and an airplane has written in the sky. I am actually quite enjoying the narration, but I thought it was supposed to be Clarissa’s stream-of-consciousness all day. Instead all these other people show up and have thoughts too. Confusing.

I did a little research (cheating) and found that we’re privy to the thoughts of three people (okay, three-ish people).

Peter’s napping on a bench in the park. This is the weirdest check-in ever!
